Aloe Blacc & Truth & Soul
New album in the works

Aloe Blacc began work on his second album for Stones Throw. The album will be produced and recorded by Leon “El” Michels and Jeff Silverman, the production duo/label owners better known by the name of their imprint: Truth & Soul. Demos that Aloe recorded with the El Michels affair in January hint at an approach: think of Bill Wither’s darkest moments, with a splash of Bobby Womack’s whimsy and just a bit of R. Kelley. Aloe documented the first day, in the Truth & Soul studios in Brooklyn.
